Of course the media are going to focus on our national team. Why wouldn’t they? It’s like saying a UK general election shouldn’t be the main news story in the UK media when there are other elections happening in other countries.
Notes in second hand books can be amazing. I've got a copy of George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead where somebody went to town on notes. Different colour highlights, extensive comments.. it was better than the book.
Also, eggs often last well beyond the dates printed on them and it's easy to find out if they've gone off (see if they float in a bowl of water).

I'm tacking on to this thread rather than a fresh reply as I think the point's been made. Growing up in the New Forest, at least three friends at my local comp were riding and did *some* dressage. I'd say access is more of a postcode lottery than wealth-based as such.
